I am partial to the HV30 – will be purchasing two of them within next 60 days via email@example.com who has arrangements with Amazon http://www.macnallysplugandplay.com = $590 delivered. Also, good info there regarding this Canon camera that has receive some solid accolades from many, MANY others in the business.
I am using Mac computers, and Final Cut Pro editing software, and I understand this is compatible.
I have purchased a LOT of stuff through Gary’s company, and have often contacted him with problems he has attempted to help me with. His service and products are awesome. I wish he were a Mac/FCP guru as well, but you can’t have everything!
So, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
