I am having trouble with my computers dvd drives reading burned dvds. The dvds that I have burned play just fine in all of my stand alone dvd players but they wont play in either one of my computers dvd drives, and I use both of these drives to burn the very same dvds that they won’t read. Not just my burned dvds either, it is any dvds that are not true hollywood dvds. Any suggestions? Is this strange?
If they will open a CD(audio or video) you may have a software issue. If they won’t recognize the CD, it’s most likely hardware failure(not the Drives) or BIOS problems. Don’t forget to check the most likely hardware problem- cabling.
