Hi,
I’ve just shoot on HD with the Sony Z1U. I’ve shot the footages without knowing then what the All-Scan mode does for the LCD viewfinder. The problem is, I attached a 4X4 filter to the camera. The edge of the filter didn’t appear at the Z1U LCD/viewfinder, until I realized that it became very obvious after I capture the footageand viewed it in FCP.
Is there any practical solution to this besides cropping the edge or scaling the footage larger than normal? If I were given these two choices, which would be better, cropping the edge or scaling it larger? Would scaling the footage make a noticable quality loss?
Thanks in advanced.
