InactiveI have Vegas pro. Most of anything I learned on Vegas, be it pro or otherwise was on Youtube and just fooling around.
Have you used it at all for anything yet?

Cville
ParticipantVasst has some great training DVDs the step you through the basics. They are very structured and a great place to start.

ParticipantCville (is that for Cookeville) is correct. I tried SVP and they have a built in video package. I do not recall how to open it up, but check under HELP. One of the extra cookies with SVP is the fact that it comes bundled with training videos, but also YouTube. YouTube also has a complete channels for I believe every video editing program made. I subscribe to several for VSX4P and their awesome just released 3D editor.
