  There are many posts of people who tell of problems they have with compatibility between their video camera and FCE.
  
  Just an FYI, any video camera that is sold on apple’s online store has been tested to work with MACs, taking into account certain specifications.
  
  If you have questions about a specific camera, Call 1800 MY-Apple and just ask to speak with an engineer. They will answer your questions specifically.
