ParticipantHello Videomaker Community
I was looking for DIY diffusers and I found this website. In picture #3 there is a bulb called Ultra White Light double-ended tungsten halogen lamp. This bulb was bought from a hardware store in Australia and apparently they don’t ship to the US. A few months ago I bought work lights from my local hardware store, but I haven’t found any light bulb similar to the one mention before (the halogen yellowish light is not the best look) I search the web for a similar light, found nothing in B&H, and found one at Amazon that apparently generate clear crisp white light. Does anyone have try to use or have use this double ended halogen bulb for work lights? Do they really generate clear crisp white light?

ParticipantHave you looked in the Home-Depot / Lowe’s stores near you? Local ones here have display lights like the kit that you can actually turn on and see what lighting comes from them. Home Depot has a whiteFluorescentworklights similar style that gives of a nice white.
By the way, you have to watch the overseas purchases as countries run on different voltages 240V lamps you were looking will not work in a 120V fixture. make sure you get the right voltage.
