I’ve been away from video production for a while, but recently have returned to it. I have a Sony PVW-2800 Betacam SP deck and lots of Betacam footage that would useful. I’m running Adobe Premiere Proon a Dell PC Laptop.
Does anyone know the best method for directly convert my Betacam footage to digital? Cost is an issue too. (When isn’t it?) Thanks.

you can find various used break out boxes on ebay, I’m sure. I had the DV50 for Premiere back in the day. Worked fine with a 2800. You’llwant to add blackburst. Lil Horitas can be found on ebay for the cheap, as you can imagine.
