Heres a good tutorial for After Effects and Final Cut Pro users who want to know a quick way to perform a Bleach Bypass style grade on their video footage.
Theres two ways shown in making a bleach bypass in this tutorial. The first way can be done in AE or Final Cut Pro and involves using two layers. The second is a way learnt from Creative Cow and can only be done in AE well you cant seem to do it in Final Cut anyway.

The first time I tried Bleach Bypass was using Magic Bulet’s Movie Looks (got it free with Vegas+DVD 6.0). It is a great package and I would heartily recommend it to others: http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/products/categories/color-correction/magic-bullet-looks/
