Videomaker – Learn video production and editing, camera reviews › Forums › Technique › Editing › Blank Video on import from Final Cut Pro
I just had a videographer tape a 3 day event in Orlando. He used Final Cut Pro on a Mac and send me a portable USB hard drive with all of the video files in Quicktime format.
Unfortunately, I have a PC and need to import the files into Adobe Premier.
I got some software so I can read the Mac files on my PC, but when I try to importhisQuicktime filesinto Premier, I get a white screen in place of the video. I can hear the audio fine, just can’t view the video.
I’m guessing there is a codex missing, but don’t know how to locate it.
Can anyone help?
You will need to convert the files to DV-AVI, you can do that with QuickTime Pro.
