I wonder if anyone could advise me on what the best settings for exporting AVCHD 1080i (50i, Upper Fields first) to MPEG2 (PAL) for the creation of DVDs to be compatible with standard DVD players? The video is about 1 hour 25 minutes in length and I was wondering if I need to adjust the settings due to the length of the video? Will the quality of the image decrease the longer the video is? The main bit of information I need is this – how can I ensure that the DVD will play with the correct aspect ratio on everyone’s TV? This DVD is to be sold and most people will be playing it through widescreen TVs but some maybe still play it through 4:3 sets. What aspect ratio should I export to?

      Thanks in advance!
