Avid Liquid 7 Pro Breakout box

I have just installed Avid Liquid 7 on to a brand new computer and and it can’t find drivers for the breakout box.
In the device manager on the computer it comes up with a ? USB device when I plug the breakout box to the USB port but there is no problem when I plug a different USB device to the computer.
I am thinking that there is a fault with the breakout box itself is there anyone else had the same problem and might have some advice to cure it.
