Adobe after effects

I downloaded the demo version of after effects but for some reason it would not install….do i need another adobe program to run it? thanks in advance

no, you do NOT need other Adobe software, it must have been a download error. You can order a CD for free from Adobe that has the entire Adobe video collection demos on it, with a few abreviated total training dvd stuff, so you can get started with it.
