      hi Guys,

i am working on a video for an outdoor concert that was held in the fall. i am wondering how i can fly some still photos into the video project ? there was a photographer at the concert, he gave me all his photo files. the effect i am trying to get is when i see the flash of his camera go off on the video , i would like to display that photo on the video, kinda like in the movies when the news paper spins into the film with the headline.

Click on the Transitions tab and select the 3D Fly In/Out group and see if one of those will do ya.

If not, use a separate track for the still and use Track Motion (3D Source Alpha instead of Source Alpha as the compositing mode) and you can make it spin (rotation) and zoom in (Position).
