Just wondering if anyone out there in cyberspace can tell me something beyond Canon’s explanation of the 24p 2:3, and the 24p 2:3:3:2 shooting modes. I am aware that the former is used if you want to put final product to video, and the latter is for exporting to Film when complete. Is this exclusively the use of these 2 modes, or can you also put the 2:3:3:2 on video and the 2:3 on film if you wish to do so after the fact of production? In other words, can i shoot in 2:3:3:2 and still maintain the video quality that the other modes would provide, or is it even possible?
