I have recorded 4 movies in my race car. Every movie is recorded with separate camera in hd 1280x720px/60fps. This is 4 separate movie files. I need simple method how tomontage this 4 tracks to single movie file but to randomly choose single camera per action. This is something like video-dj software. One example: from 00:00-01:00 is camera 1, than from 01:00-02:00 is second camera, than from 02_00:03:00 is camera 4, than from 04:00-05:00 is camera 3, than again from camera 1…I want to simply choose one camera and mask other camera…Like switch on/off.
And on the end export this montage to single-track *.avi file.

most nle’s will allow you to edit video sources and render out a file. Sony Vegas Pro 8 has a multicam tool that will mix up to 32 video sources very fast and easy. the nice thing is each switch is a take on the multicamera track, so if you don’t like the take, you can do another edit and use a different take in it’s place.
