And now… the moment many of you have been waiting for. It’s time for the 18th Annual Videomaker Short Video Contest. Show us what you can do, and we’ll give you a chance to take home some pretty slick video equipment.
Send us your finest work–any topic, five minutes or less in length. The possibilities are endless. All videos must be sent on CD-R in Windows Media (.wmv) format, encoded for delivery from a Web server (not Windows Media server), for LAN, cable modem or xDSL (100 to 768 Kbps). Get your disc to us by September 30, 2004 (see Entry Guidelines). All videos for the 2004 contest will be judged by subscribers to the magazine visiting videomaker.com.
Judges will be looking for technical proficiency, image quality and overall excellence. The best of the best will battle for Grand Prize. If you’re under 20, a Young Videographer bonus award is up for grabs, and if you’re over 55, the Senior Videographer Award could be yours.
We know you’re out there, and we know you’re making great videos–show us what you’ve got!
