Goggles come to mind when Liquid Image brings up their products, at CES 2015, they’ve shaken it up with the Ego LS. A new venture with Altair Semiconductor allows the Ego LS to stream live video. With the Ego LS, the form factor is radically different from the action cameras that are integrated into ski and off road masks.

The Ego LS has a design that you may be familiar with, the lens protrudes from a small rectangular case with a screen to show modes and functions. The biggest features that stand out are the connectivity options. The Ego LS can use 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and low frequency RF. You are limited to 60 minutes of shooting while on 4G LTE, but with the Connected Device Streaming Metadata, you’ll be able to make the most of it. The camera gets 1920×1080 video at 30fps and has a 145-degree lens. The Ego LS costs $400 and accessory specifications will be listed when it begins shipping this quarter.
