Apparently, "Air, Water, Earth, and Fire" is all it takes to make a summer blockbuster these daysthat, and possibly some of the best special effects to date, thanks to the folks at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM).

My son informed me yesterday that over the summer he wants to film,edit.add FX.etc- in specific, he wants to use his friends and family to film his own live action version of the World of Warcraft animated intro videos!!!! I have done a good bit of photo editing,(Photoshop.etc) but I have no idea where to even start on this kind of video process. I know what green screens,miniatures and adding effects like fire mean,but how in the world do you find software to do this kind of thing? I don't want to scream "No!", but I don't want to spend a gazillion $$ either.
