I'd like to migrate from Premiere to Vegas and now i try Vegas Pro 11.
My question is what is the easiest way to default a video and an audio transition (in fact i couldn't find such thing as audio trans) with different frame length for the video and the audio and to put them between the selected clips in the timeline. The clips are adjacent, cut/shrunk with enough room for the longer transition, not overlapped.
I have been enjoying using Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.0 (Build 179) for a few months now, on a 32bit Dell XPS laptop (a few years old now) with 4 gig of memory.
Recently, when I attempt to insert a transition, a random clip from elsewhere in the video appears for 1 or 2 seconds, right in the middle of the transition -- regardless of the type of transition it seems -- before it moves on to the next clip.
Has anyone else experienced this before? It's driving me crazy.
