Hello - we're here in Cambodia and just wrapped shooting our short drama called 'FREEDOM DEAL'.
Taking place during Nixon's 1970 'Cambodia Incursion', the story centers on a pair of ragtag but likeable refugees and a Peacenik/Redneck US GI who reluctantly takes part in the military operation.
We're now starting to organize footage for the edit and have started with a few scenes in progress already, and we're now poking around for an indie-budget level COMPOSER.
Hiya, I've recently completed training in film score techniques and looking for some experience and to put a portfolio together. I've a lot of experience with composing and music production and can be very versatile with style. I've put a little site together here http://neonmonkeystudios.com where you can hear some examples of my stuff. Please contact me at russwook@hotmail.com or through the site if your interested.
Hey all! Just curious how many filmmakers here are composers as well. (And I don't mean people who put loops together in GarageBand!) I mean those who know music theory, and compose, write, and/or perform. I thoght a thread on this topic would be interesting as indie filmmakers are always seeking cheap royalty-free music. Here are a few samples of my most recent scores. Everyone feel free to post their work!
Hello all,
Anyone know of where to get some good epic orchastraw type sound tracks for romantic wedding films? Any good sites anyone knows of? I am constantly running out of them.
Also would love feedback on my wedding demos. Check out my website at http://www.silasbarker.com and click the Gallery Page to view them.
I'm an aspiring composer looking to write music for video games. I'm also a music student working to build a 'reel' of my work and gain experience working with clients. I do orchestral/electronica/rock - I have some samples here www.synapsemusic.com. Thanx
