Not because Rio, known as the marvelous city, is the home of Carnival and world famous beaches, such as Copacabana, Ipanema, nor because it's the home of the Samba No, the MOFILM team is hugely excited about the Rio de Janerio Video Contest because it's another chance to take our brands and winning filmmakers to yet another international Film Festival set in a stunning location.

So, I have seen the little box of upcoming events below the recent thread box, but I have also seen several members post event that aren't already listed on this website. I would like to know where the best place to find upcoming festivals and contests is. I don't currently have a project ready to ship but I am working on one so I would like to be able to keep tabs on what things are coming up when I do.

I live in Nashville, so there isn't a whole lot around me, and so I am willing to travel, I just don't know where to find the things. Thanks guys.

CAPE FEAR INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES
CALL FOR 2009 FESTIVAL ENTRIES

WILMINGTON, NC The Cape Fear Independent Film Network is now accepting submissions to the 2009 Cape Fear Independent Film Festival. Staged at the historic City Stage Theater in downtown Wilmington, the 9th annual festival will be held from May 1-3 for three days of short films, socializing and great prizes. There will be a $1000 grand prize for best short, as well as individual category prizes.

The camcorder is offered as a prize for a contest my company is running for the video portion of our online platform.

www.freshbrain.org is a non profit focused on enhancing the education of our youth in the areas of business and technology with hands on real world experience.
