GoPro today announced that an all-new camera model, the HERO+ LCD, will release in Canada and the US on June 7, 2015. The HERO+ LCD delivers 1080p60 video and 8MP photos, and, like the HERO4 Silver, features a touchscreen display.

Canon today announced the addition of two new EOS Rebel Digital SLR models, the T6s and the T6i. Featuring all-new 24.2 megapixel sensor, and long-awaited Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, the new models represent a leap forward in Canon’s APS-C format camera lineup.
Canon rolled out a series of announcements this morning, including updates to their flagship EOS series, all new Rebels, a couple of new PowerShots, a tease of an upcoming point and shoot, and some new top end glass. Of particular interest were the release of new 5DS and 5DS R model DSLRs.

Blackmagic Design today rolled out Blackmagic Camera Utility 2.0, an update to camera firmware for their entire camera lineup, save for the Blackmagic Design 4K Production Camera. In the announcement they also rolled out Blackmagic Desktop Video 10.3.5, an update to their desktop video software for the DeckLink 4K Extreme and the UltraStudio 4K.
Panasonic today announced the DMC-GF7, their latest mirrorless micro four-thirds camera. The retro-styled GF7 is a 16-megapixel interchangeable lens system with a unique 180 degree flippable LCD monitor and secondary left-hand shutter button, for those looking to up their selfie game.
