In our Video Bits & Bytes segment, Mark has video news about Sanyo's latest CG65 AVC/H.264 Camcorder and some DV camcorder rebates from Canon. Derek brings us more news on StumbleUpon.com and iStock video, and tells you about a film festival using disposable camcorders.
In this week's Video Bits & Bytes: Mark and Derek have news on JVC's new GZ-HD7 hi-def Everio...and some Free Final Cut Pro Plug-ins from Noise Industries. They'll also tell you about StudioNow.com, a new Online Video Editing Community where YOU can get paid to edit other people's videos online. Additionally, they have news about Blinkx.com launching a new wiki for Video SEO and about a Viacom law-suit against YouTube for 1 Billion Dollars.
In our Video Bits & Bytes segment, Mark has some Video Industry News for editing storage. Seagate announces the World's fastest drives that runs at 15-thousand rpms, which is good news for video editors. In Derek's video sharing news, he tells us about Stockstock, joost [juiced], HDfest and Grindhouse. Stockstock is a film fest using stock footage and remixing, joost is a new venture from the same team that brought us skype. HDfest is a traveling HD video festival that will be in NYC the same weekend that Videomaker is having its New York Summit.
In our News & Technology segment, Derek has some exciting news in the video-sharing world. Samsung has developed a phone that delivers Divix media. A new site we're watching closely is Zudeo which supplies High Def film download with a bit torrent twist. Mark tells us about two new AVCHD camcorders form Panasonic... and the latest release of DVD-it Pro HD by Roxio.
