Nice look but I am haveing a problem finding some of the previous features.

How do I find my Posts file?

I used it as a quick way of following up threads that I had been involved in.

How do I update my profile?

for some reason, my " back " button doesn't work on this new site

My account, takes me to my user page but there is no way to edit any of the information, anywhere, what's up with that?

I wanted to post today and the system says I'm not allowed.

It'll all work out. IMHO the change overall is for the better, just some elements will take some getting used to.

I'm sure the photo/avatar thingy is temporary. Right?
