The planet 5D Short Film Challenge was created by planet5D founder, planetMitch to showcase the talents of today's up and coming filmmakers. Based on a belief that the modern filmmaker must utilize the internet to build an audience base in order to succeed, the planet5D Short Film Challenge is designed to be a two-step process. Step 1 allows the public to vote on each and every film. During this phase, filmmakers are encouraged to promote their film online as much as possible. During Step 2 the top 10 films will be reviewed personally by planetMitch and a winner will be chosen based on technical skill and storytelling ability. The winning film will go on to win a grand prize package worth over $2,000!
