To me, it blows the Godfather, Casablanca, etc. out of the water. It's a Korean film about the first ever serial killer discovered in the late 80s and how the police who were very corrupt at that time dealt with the investigation. You will not see acting like it anywhere else, the cinematography is breath taking and the story is as intense as it gets. City of the Lost Children on the other hand.... is another world. It reminds me of the Dark Crystal or Legend, or Lord of the Rings in it's creation of a very unique director's vision. There is no movie out there like it! It's a french film about dreams, and how they end up stolen from the minds of small children.... ya, it's just something you need to see! I am not cool enough to of heard of the last two...But I have seen and agree on three out of the five, so that saves me lol. These are always fun to read because we each have our own list. We are each different as artists, and thus each different in our influences. And seeing what an artist of any medium sees as the most important to them, is always a thrill. Very Interesting List.
