I remember those days of slapping together a clone to augment work done in the field with my old military camera unit. I was a macie back then and looked forward to building one for myself and then it all went away. Fortunately, building PC’s wasn’t too hard to learn and now I much prefer the windows platform anyway. But don’t lament, Apple has not squashed the revolution by any means. When they decided to use the same components as PC’s they reopened the door to ‘cloning’. Now if you so desire you can build your own ‘hackintosh’ for old times sake.
