About
Finally I started my video events business.
It is very hard when you start from the bottom, with not enough cash to spend, but not impossible. I made a research in the internet to get free resources and I found a free web hosting with Microsoft officelive. (my profound gratitude to them)
I also found several other free resources that helped me to put the website together in a decent way without spending money. If you’d like a list of those resources, visit my site: http://seeleyvideo.services.officelive.com
The first thing to do, is always to register the busuness name, so nobody else will use it in your area. I also payed for my first license to work in El Centro, but as economically feasible, I will be getting licenses in the sorrounding cities.
There are a lot of things to do, like getting an HD camera, advertizing in the local newspapers, and so on, but when you don’t have start up cash, that has to be done little by little.
As soon as I published my site, I received phone calls offering me IT solutions, Virtual approaches and other services that I don’t have an idea of what they mean, but I am not intimidated, I just said “no, thanks, my marketing department in our Miami branch is taking care of those matters”.
I don’t know if one day I’ll use those services, though I hope so, because that would mean that my business grew, but for right now, city of El Centro be prepared… Seeley Video is here!
Also I want to thank Mr. York, the publisher of this wonderful magazine for all what he and his staff do for the beginers in this profession.
I noticed that when I input “Seeley Video” in several searching machines, my video maker blog appears on the first page. That is a great tool to advertize… and that is for free. Thanks again, Mr. York.
That said, please feel free to contact me for matters related to video, or even just to say hi.
You can use the e-mail that appears somewhere in this page, or seeleyvideo@att.net
