You’ve finished your project. Why not show it to us?

In the 21 years that Videomaker has been publishing, we’ve received thousands of videos from all over the world, asking our opinions, and tips to make their next videos even better. Our shelves are still overflowing with VHS, S-VHS, 8mm, Hi8, Digital8, MiniDV, cassettes from the years gone by (I think we even have a few Micro MV tapes in there somewhere). Sadly we often didn’t have the time to respond to each one personally. We attempted to address this somewhat in our Take 20 segment on our vidcast, but still, many more entries came in than we could process at one a week.

This is now the place where you can show us your video, and have it live for the ages. Simply join this group (click join on the red bar at the top) and you can create your own post that embeds your video clip from a variety of online sharing sites. A ratings box will automatically appear under the video, and people can rate your video in terms of camera work, lighting, audio, editing and overall quality. They can also leave in depth comments for more detailed critiques. The Videomaker Editorial Staff will take a look at it and leave our comments, and also you will be getting feedback from our community members as well.

The ability to have a large focus group of professional videographers and advanced video enthusiasts willing to look at and critique your work is a fantastic asset for anyone of any skill level.
