I’m an artist/sculptor. 3 years ago my grandaughter surprised me with her 1st video. It was real good. She challenged me to learn videomaking. Computers are not native to me, however thanks to the Apple Store I’ve learned a lot.

Now I go out into the desert near Palm Springs and patiently wait for coyote, quail and roadrunners then edit. I am continually becoming more professional.

I am very pleased with my new Sony HDR CX550V camcorder. Color, resolution and stabilization are its features I appreciate the most and am now graduating to Final Cut Pro.

I had a syncing problem. I would edit and burn when I was satisfied with the video, however when I played it on our TV the lip sync was off in four clips. I repeatedly adjusted syncing which would be perfect, and somejow when it was burned the syncing would change. Fortunately, I made duplicates and solved it by dropping the original and burning a duplicate copy. My Apple trainer said he had the same problem, but it was rare for him.
