Quick and Fast: Forget buying pro or downloading free software. Build your own software for Windows and/or Mac with HyperNext Studio!

I’m just getting into this, but after seeing so many free programs, I thought “Why not build my own?” So when I found HyperNext, I got to work. I’ve built two little programs, both of which consist of buttons which you click in order to bring up dialog boxes. That’s all they do, but I’m pretty happy. Still, I’ve got a long ways to go.
The studio is 3 programs: Creator, for actually building the programs; Developer, for building the plugins you can utilize in Creator; and Player, where you can open “stacks”, the basic programs that Creator makes for testing/easy sharing.
When you’re through building, Creator can build standalone programs for Windows XP and Vista and Mac OS 9 or OS X. You can even sell the programs you create. I’m beginning to wonder if some of the free programs I’ve reviewed weren’t built in HyperNext Studio.
Tutorials: You can download sample projects and a pdf Language Reference for the HyperNext language, a more basic language. HyperNext can also use RBscripts to build programs.
License and Use: Again, you may sell the programs you build and do not owe any royalties for doing so.
Moving up: There is a free, open-source program for building software using C# which I’m told is the best programming language out there. The software is called SharpDevelop. Go to http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SD/
