The only reason I included this one is because my Flash Media camera records files to ASF rather than MPEG, so I needed a good converter from ASF to AVI. ASFTools does this pretty well, what I’ve done with it. My video looks better after ASFTools than it does after Avidemux.
You can’t play or edit your files with ASFTools, just convert. Like MediaCoder, this doesn’t fit my style well. I’d like to watch and edit my files as well as convert them. Oh, well. It’s still a good program.
NOTE: Since I found Any Video Converter, I dropped ASF Tools.

License and Use: Good question. I couldn’t find the answer on the website, other than at the bottom of the homepage. It just says you can’t charge money for distributing the program. I tried emailing the guy, but his account is discontinued. I’m guessing you can use it for commercial purposes.
