Does anyone know of a cost effective video transmitter (broadcast quality) that I can use for a remote camera? This is for a video production that i produce for my church.

Hopefully, someone involved with this can give you more info, but until then you might try -

Also, try Googling [video transmitter (broadcast quality) church services] and see if you don't get some good links.

Just an idea - assuming you mean transmitting the signal to a receiver elsewhere within the building and not an uplink - since you only have one location (the church), why not cable it instead of transmitting? That might be cheaper and avoid interference problems, etc.

Explain in more detail what you mean by video Tranmitter and exactly what you are trying to do or would like to do.

We film our services every week. We have a total of four cameras that we use to switch between. I would like to make one of the cameras totally wireless, so that the technician has the freedom to move where ever he wants, with out the use of cables (and grips). Is it possible to get a transmitter that will transmit that video signal to our control room?

There are some solutions out there for wireless video. I don't know much about the different solutions but do a search on the web for "transmitting wireless video".
