 having 2 high def sony camcorders, and shooting mostly people/weddings here's a little tip I'd like to share:
A sony store near me had 2 sony wide angle lenes (both 0.7x) one hd model for $199.00 and one sd model for $69.00.
I tried them both out and wound up buying the $69.00 one.
they were hard to tell apart, image quality wise.
If the hd model gives any better detial than the sd one, I couldn't tell on my camcorders screen or the big hdtv in the store.
but cheaper converters for people shots should actually be better than the more expensive models because a slight amount of diffusion is GOOD for close ups of people!Â
