When do the new models typically come out? (DVX100+)

   When do the major companines come out with new/upgrade models? I am about to buy the Panasonic AG-DVX100, but I just found the Sony PD170 and the VX2100... will Panasonic follow sooth? Should I wait?

   Usually companies announce new products at big confrences, such as NAB and WEVA. I heard a rumor that Sony is planning on coming out with a 24p camera sometime in the spring of 2004.
