What is the "secret" to online video?

    What is it that gets people to watch your vidcasts? Is it having a lot of friends? Making a name in the online community? Or simply having the best videos around? What drives that traffic, how do you guys work within your communities to drive your audience?

   lol, if you just want someone to watch it make a fool of yourself in public and then post a link to it in an email to everyone you know, in a week or two a few hundred thousand people will watch it.

   For actually accomplishing something though providing complete detailed information that your readers are looking for and then making it easily found does the trick for me.
