I am shooting a dance play using Sony FX7, and will edit it using FCP 6.

I have been experimenting and searching for the best possible settings for the shoot considering that the stage light will not be in color, the position of the camera from stage is far (over 50').

I am planning in shooting in HD, and I am looking for the best possible settings for; Exposure, Focus and Speed Shutter. ( I think of Auto for exposure and focus due to stage controlled low lighting, and manual speed shutter, I have noticed that in auto speed shutter the movements are out of focus when freezing a scene?).

Any advises form the pro here will be much appreciated.
