    Hi there!

I'm looking for a hint, tip, technique about how to make a very slow zoom on someone.

My zoom "slider" or button on my camcorder is not easy to deal with when it comes to do a slow zoom of something like 15-20 seconds...

Of course I could simply keyframe my video of start it at 100% and finish it at 105%, but it's a digital zoom, so it doesn't keep the precision...

I just want to create a slow and small zoom at thwe same time, lasting 15-20 seconds.. Any ideas ?

    a lanc controller might help.
I'd cheat and do a ken burns pan on a digital still....
    hope that helps.

If your camera won't oblige, try a dolly move. Sit on a wagon or wheelchair and have someone slowly push you toward your subject. Bicycles, roller blades - all sorts of things can be put to use as a dolly. Lowes sells a garden wagon with inflatible tires. Doubles as a cart for carrying gear AND as a dolly - just have to find someone to push. :D
