Vegas Pro 10 has arrived today!

Does anyone know if there will be any upgrade pricing on this?  All I see at the moment is full pricing.

    Answering my own question: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/buy/upgrades

I will be trying out the trial today before I go much further to make sure my hopes for this software are met - including GPU assisted rendering.

I recieved an e-mail from Sony ( I had signed up for one when Sony was going to release Vegas Pro 10) and it had a 30 day offer to purchase it for under $200.00

Thanks for the discounted link birdcat!  I was going to go for the $240ish version that I found but I am glad I waited.

I did some render time comparisons yesterday as well with the trial version.  I think that alone may be worth the upgrade.

hmmm... guess they dropped the price on the one I had linked as well.  Yesterday it was $240 download - 250 media.

    Thanks Birdcat.

I was not going to upgrade to 10 until you posted this link.  I didn't want to pass up the upgrade for this price.  They also let you choose 1 of 5 items free with the purchase.  Some sound effects, some type of training, an audio editing program.  I chose particle illusion.  although I'm not sure how I get the free software unless they are shipping it to me.  Some things on the list were downloads.

I actually Prefer Sony Vegas 10 to final cut, and the price is way lower.  Final Cut is weird with the AVCHD Format and its usually nothing but a pain.  Sony Vegas 10 also lets you convert your Plugins which is nice.  New Blue makes a ton of them.  Pc wins over Mac on this one!
