Has anyone shot and editing 1080 60i footage and sent it off to discmakers to get encoded and put onto a DVD?

I've been at this for a month and am way past due on a work project with no end in sight.

I've tried just using Sony vegas to render the mpg's (seperate elementary streams for audio and video) and they don't look good at all. The best file I can get from the system is a Sony AVC one that I tweaked, I'm working with the guys at discmakers to make this work and they are having trouble.

Anyone go through this workflow and have an idea on what I need to do. I'm so stuck and feel like I've tried everything!

Obi-wan?

Have you tried rendering out a widescreen SD mpg and sending that?

It's 1080 30i not 60i but here is what I render for SD widescreen DVD's

tried that and the footage comes out crummy, not crisp at all.. my stuff if upperfield first and I to 2 pass, but the sessions are pretty similar, still the footage rendered is blah.

One more thing - on the Project tab (same screen above), what is your Video Rendering Quality set too? Maybe override it to Good or Best and see what you get.
