TRV-33-Setting Up an External Mic

   I have a Sony Trv-33. I am ready to improve my audio with an external mic, and was wondering what all I would need. i believe that it has a stereo mic input. What kinds of cables/adapters/etc. do I need to connect to that? Also, any reccomendations on mics? Right now I am just thinking about an inexpensive handheld mic (inexpensive, but still good quality sound). Any suggestions? Thanks.
