Oh my all time fav' is from "Rambo II" "My God John! Tell me, what do you want?" "What do I want? What do I want? I want what every guy who came here fought and bled his guts out wants.... (insert unnaturally long pause) ... for out country to love us... (IULP) as much as we (IULP) love it!"
I remember sitting in the theater and after having thoroughly enjoyed all the mindless violence watching Stallone kill the whole movie with his delivery of that line. I could help but crack up it was so bad. Fortunately, he managed to redeem himself in some later films but I've never recovered from that one.
It may or may not be cheesey, but I love Jack Nicholson's line from "As Good As It Gets" - "Go peddle crazy somewhere else, we're all full up here".
Quigley Down Under
"I said I didn't have much use for one. Didn't say I didn't know how to use it."
Okay, the vid wasn't up when I posted. Yeah those were some 'cheesy lines' but I have to 'throw a flag' on some of those:
"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum!" If you saw the movie "They Live!" by the time Roddy Piper said that line, it was totally appropriate.
"Wilson! I'm sorry Wilson! WIIILLLSOOON!" Dude that line was brilliant in that it was so tragic and funny at the same time. Now if he had said, "I love you WIIILLLSOOON!" yeah that would have been cheesy.
"Don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaught bitch!" That one I'd have to go to the 'video replay' for a judgment call. If you ever read an X-Men Comic with the 'Jugg-Man' in it or watched 'Chappele's Show' you got the joke.
"Stop eating my sesame cake. STOP EATING MY SESAME CAKE!" I can't tell you how many times I wanted to tell someone obnoxious that."
Now from a person who knows, that scene in "Top Gun" where they were all cheering, celebrating and Iceman and Maverick were having their 'Bromantic Moment' out there on the flight deck wouldn't have happened.
"I live my life a quarter mile at a time."
Vin in Fast and the Furious.
I loled and still use it to this day every time I'm racing.
