sound is recorded but not imported

   I was hoping if anyone could help me out on this. I’ve recoded a basketball game few days back on a Sony X10. I had to return it, so used a Sony dcr-hc51e miniDV instead  to import my footage . But after I had done that, there was no sound. It works fine on the cam itself but on pc it doesn’t.

   Weird problem. If you have a headphone jack on the camera, try to export (capture) audio that way.

   Before you try that though, see if the sound is "really" there already. Drop your captured file in an editing program to see if an audio line appears.

   If it does, and you can't hear it, check your media player - try another type. If not, try to capture the audio or borrow a camera from someone.
