Sony RDR VX-500 Information

   Hello, I am new to the forum. I am looking into purchasing a camcorder for home use with my kids and family gatherings. I am interested in the hard drive camcorders. I have heard how bad the JVC's are and I was wondering if this camera was any better. ANy help you could give would be appreciated. Merry Christmas.

   I typed in the wrong number for the video camera I was looking for information. The number I am looking for is DCR-SR40. I apologize for the mis-information. I guess it was just a newbie mistake. Thanks again for any information. :)
