Sony HDR HC7 playback problems

   I recently had to send in my HC7 to have the tracking adjusted. It would play back tapes that had recently been recorded but not tapes from a while back.  It was adjusted under warranty and worked fine for a short while. Now it wont play back anything. Just a blue screen on playback!!  Any suggestions before I pay $60 for the repairs postage.
