Sony camcorder LCD not working

    My Sony DCR-TRV361 lcd screen is not working in Camera and Playback/Edit mode. Viewfinder okay.

   Hmmm. LCD not working at all? Only thing I could suggest is a depot repair. However, the question is, would it actually be worth it? It might be more worth your while to keep this one at home, use it solely for capturing tapes that you need; and get a new camcorder to replace this one for shooting. (The really sad part is that it might cost as much to fix this camcorder as it would be to get a new one, and that's compounded by the fact that you can't buy a new D8 camcorder anymore.)
