I am doing an SIP(student initiated project) for my final year of high school. I am intersted in making movies and working on video projects. The thing I like most about doing this is combining elements of images, words, graphics, special effects, and web sites to have my works seen. If you ask me, I think film school is all wrong for me. I think a major in Visual Communications, Digital Media, or Multimedia would enable me to do video as well as other projects. Are there any more majors you can think of that incorporate video into them? Please let me know your input or advice.

Of course there are many different ways to get experience and a degree. A film school is only one of them. A degree in communication arts (or whatever it's called these days) is available from many different colleges and art schools. Perhaps someone younger than me can suggest a particular college, but I do know that there are many to choose from.

Digital Media Production... Look into Drexel and The Art Institutes.
