Can someone recommend a dvd burning software that will let me simply and easily do a disk to disk burn?
(The original dvd being one that I already created.)
I've tried Nero 5 and it officially blows.

There are several programs that do this. Just do an internet search. One that I know of and tried the demo is DVD Clone. Will duplicate everything including chapters and subfiles. It's marketed for duplicating commercial dvds, but you can probably find something less expensive to do the job. You can use the trial version once for free.

I use record now DX that came with my DVD burner and it has worked great for copying DVDs I have created.

Check out DVDShrink at http://www.dvdshrink.org -- it's freeware. In addition to copying discs, if the original disc/files exceeds the 4.2GB limit it will compress it so it will fit on a standard dvd without any loss of quality. I've made several discs that have 3+ hours on them without any problems at all.

Nero 6 is one of the most popular DVD/CD copying programs.
