Sign off from Experts used in a Documentary??

   I am in the process of doing a documentary and will be videotaping several experts. Will I need to get written permission from these people allowing me to use the clips in my documentary?? If so, should the sign off also include language that these experts can't subsequently claim royalties from the production of the DVD??

   Yes and Yes. Even if you don't think it would be a problem, its better to have all your bases covered than to have it come back to haunt you later. Most people are more than willing to sign something like that too.
