Shooting School Chorus and Band

   When shooting groups on stage, the tight shots are great, good definition, exposure, but when we go to a wide, full group shot the kid's white shirts all bleed together. Is this camera quality or an exposure control issue? We manual white balance and currently use auto iris.

   I usually go to manual controls for adjusting aperture settings for stage events. You are right, this is often a problem.
